I am a mother of four (ages 14, 12, 10 and 8), wife of one awesome Mexican, and graduated with an MA in Counseling Psychology at The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. I worked and interned part time at an organization in Seattle that advocates for the agency and freedom of commercial sex workers, REST (www.iwantrest.com). I am honored to be a regular contributor to Red Tent Living. (https://redtentliving.com/tag/danielle-castillejo/) I have just opened a private practice that focuses on a communal model: 50 % of my clients are served on a sliding scale/scholarship and 50% of my clients pay full rate to allow me to work with the community members that cannot afford my regular rate. I continue writing, speaking, while working in my community. My loves are my four children and husband. You can find the #supersixcastillejos reading Mo Willems and other various books, hiking, creating spaces for art, and adventuring together. My heart is to bear witness to the stories untold by the marginalized, silenced, and bodies seeking healing. As a survivor myself, I fight together with clients for love, justice, truth, and honor.
